ACCP’s jobs are 80% residential and 20% commercial. We welcome the simple to the most complicated jobs. When a customer contacts our office, we begin with the estimating process. After a contract is signed, we schedule the project. Before we start, the customer must have building permits, excavation and surveys complete.
The foundation work begins with our layout person meeting with the project manager at the site. Together we discuss the plans and become familiar with the project. Then our footer crew arrives and forms the footing. Once the footer is inspected and approved, then we pour.
Before the wall crew arrives the points are located again. The wall forms are delivered and the crew begins unloading the forms and setting the wall. Once the wall is set and ready for pouring, we place the concrete using concrete pumps. Concrete trucks deliver the concrete to the site and empty the concrete into the pump hopper, and it is pumped out through the hose into the forms.
The pump truck puts the concrete right where we need it. Using this method saves time and money. The pump only has to be able to access one corner of the foundation, reducing the need for expensive site work. It also allows us to pour concrete at a lower slump resulting in a superior product for the customer.
The following day, the crew arrives at the job to strip the forms from the wall. They load the forms, check the wall for accuracy, and ensure that the job site is left in tact. The job is now ready for the next phase of construction.
To sum it up, our foundation services include setting the points, forming and pouring the footers, foundation walls and retaining walls.
We believe if you start the process with a good foundation, the whole project will run smoother.
